I needed production-like environment for testing various configurations with my Drupal sites. And it had to include also Varnish and Memcached, which were practically impossible to install on my MAMP Pro setup.
So I went and installed VirtualBox on my laptop. These are the notes I collected during the process.
This September National Land Survey of Finland (NLS) launched its revised website, based on Drupal platform. Mearra was chosen, through public procurement, as the partner for a project that explored and employed galantly new ways of developing a digital service. The objective was to open a digital office for NLS' customers offering same services than actual offices with additional digital delicacies. Three success factors define the end product.
